Sherrie is newly retired after 38 years in education.  Twenty-eight of those years were in CCSD, with 17 of those years at Whitney ES, where she quickly learned the high needs of the Whitney Community and was driven to assist.  Widowed after 38 years of marriage, Sherrie and her late husband raised two sons.

Julie is currently the Assistant Principal at Whitney Elementary School and a long time supporter of Village of Hope, Las Vegas.  Over the the years, she has worked with the staff at VOH in her role as teacher, strategist, as assistant principal.  Julie and and her husband, Justin reside in Henderson and have 21 year old twin daughters.  Julie feels it is her calling and mission to serve the community surrounding VOH.

Lori brings 30 years of global experience in sales and marketing, business development, strategic planning, and benefit plan execution to Brown & Brown Insurance. A fourth-generation Nevadan, Lori has a bachelor's degree from Utah State University and lends her time to support Village of Hope, Las Vegas and The Nevada Ballet.

Melissa is  the current Principal at Whitney Elementary School.  She has been in CCSD for 11 years, including six years at an Assistant Principal at Fremont Middle School.  She is eager to engage the Whitney community and assist in the strong relationship between VOH and Whitney.  Melissa is married to Cameron, a CCSD teacher and coach.  They have two children, Ruebie, age 3, and Rex, age 1.
